Summary
The role of this big program is to incite research in human food quality and security. It has been set up jointly by the ministry of research and the ministry of agriculture for a 4 years period (1998-2002).
Its objectives are:
• to improve human food quality and security,
• to facilitate the use of research results by agricultural and agro-alimentary companies,
• to develop partnerships between thes companies, research organisms and post-graduate establishements ,
• to provide access to new approaches and methodologies to producers and companies
Only a small part of this program (2 projects) concerns organic farming and is about the food system field.
