Summary

RIKILT - Institute of Food Safety of Wageningen UR evaluates food quality and safety. This covers food constituents, agro-chemicals, environmental contaminants and natural toxins. Conducts fundamental-strategic and applied research for national and international governments and industries and supports the policy of the Dutch government with research and advice. RIKILT’s research includes the survey and monitoring of chemical and microbiological parameters for product composition and for product safety. RIKILT has expertise in the quality and supply chain management needed to improve production processes and product quality in the agro-industry.
