Programmet SLU:s Ekoforsk för fältförsök inom ekologisk odling initierades under 2002 och utgör en del av SLU:s satsning på att öka den ekologiskt odlade arealen i Sverige.

In 2002, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) introduced a program initiating several new field research projects within organic farming systems. The objective of this program is to support the implementation of a goal established by the Swedish government, that 20 % of the arable land in Sweden should be organically cultivated in the year 2005.
