Summary
This article describes the economic situation of organic farming by examples of dairy farms and arable farms. Farms with animal husbandry had higher yields than arable farms without cattle. This effect the economic total result of the enterprise at the same time positively. Single operational characteristics and economic basic conditions led to large differentiations of evaluation characteristic numbers of individual enterprises.
