Summary
Within the framework of investigations of feed the feeding value of silages from permanent grassland was determined in organic farms with beef production in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Results indicate a mostly delayed use, unfavourable combination of stocks as well as deficiencies in nutrition of plants. In many farms there are technological problems in silage making. It is shown how it is possible to reach high silage qualities considering organic conditions of production.
