Summary

We investigated the basis for variation of several fertility traits in Brown Swiss cattle. This was done using imputed whole-genome sequences. We identified a region on chromosome 17 that was associated with several fertility traits. This region is though likely to affect several fertility traits and should be looked at in more detail because of its likely influence in the accuracies of during genomic prediction.
