Summary

Summary translation

This article brings together the testimonies of several organic goat breeders and veterinarians on pest control. The quality and quantity of food offered is important to help balance the rumen flora. Parasitism is directly related to grazing. Rotational grazing, the outdoor period in winter, wooded areas with some tannin-rich forage and immunization of deer on infested plots are among the pest control solutions. As long as the parasite situation is in balance, by adopting a healthy lifestyle, the animals' performance is maintained. In addition to regular phytotherapy, the future is probably in animal selection, as some lines have developed a form of immunity. The practices mentioned above are applicable in organic farming
