Summary
The objective of this paper is to analyse the current state of the organic farming sector in Ukraine and it’s future development potentials. Emphasis will be placed on the history of Organic Farming in Ukraine, the most common reasons for conversion to Organic Farming as well as the current situation of production, legislation and marketing.

Ziel dieses Beitrages ist, den Ist-Zustand des Ökologischen Landbaus in der Ukraine zu erforschen und seine Entwicklungspotenziale aufzuzeigen. Das Augemerk der Untersuchung gilt der Entstehungsgeschichte des Ökologischen Landbaus im Land und seiner bisherigen Entwicklung, Schwepunkten der ökologischen Produktion sowie Vermarktungsstrategien.
