Summary
Humus balance methods produces organic matter balance sheets calculated from factors describing the cultivation effects of humus increasing and humus depleting crops, and organic manure application. Related results were tested for accuracy by comparison with findings from long-term field trials conducted in different climatic regions and soil types throughout Germany. Adaptations were presented especially for the practical use in organic farming.
