Summary

In the present study we looked on the impact of biogas suspension from the Demeter-farm ‘Gut Sambach’ near Muehlhausen on the microbial and mineral nitrogen pool in fallow and the impact on yield of barley. We could demonstrate the composition of amino acids was not affected by the fermentation process. The applied amount of nitrogen was 65.7 kg Nt ha-1 whereby the proportion of ammonium was 24 % (15.8 kg N ha-1). The yield of barley was significantly increased.
