Summary

Proceedings of the first high-level policy conference on organic farming ever held. The conference was attended by 60 participants from more than 20 countries and international organisations, including 5 Ministers and 10 vice-Ministers. It resulted in the Rudolec Declaration urging governments and minsters of Central and Eastern Europe to adopt and implement environmentally and socially sound agricultural policies promoting organic agriculture.
