Summary

The results of the evaluation of more than 1.800 events on knowledge transfer between 2008 and 2011 for Eco-Practitioners in Germany show a huge need for research on topics of Organic Farming and Food Processing. Therefore it is crucial to expend research on basic topics of Organic farming and Food Processing as well as initiate scientific projects which look at recently originated core issues which occur e.g. because of changing policy and environmental conditions. It is also important to develop suitable instruments to evaluate the need of Organic Research on the part of Eco-Practitioners.
