Summary

Biologische aardbeien worden nog maar weinig geteeld. De voornaamste reden hiervoor is dat de teelt niet zo gemakkelijk is en er nogal wat kan misgaan. Ook vraagt de aardbeienteelt een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid arbeid, waardoor het relatief duur is. Het aanbod biologische aardbeien is dus gering. Ook zijn
de groothandelsbedrijven voorzichtig met inkopen, hetgeen potentiële telers verder afremt. Een continu aanbod ontbreekt dus: hoog tijd om de cirkel te
doorbreken en de continuïteit te verbeteren. In dit BioKennisbericht meer over de biologische teelt van aardbeien.

Summary translation

organic strawberries are not much grown. Main problem is the high risk during the growth and the high labour demand. As such the supply of organic strawberries is limited and trade is cautious as a continuous supply is lacking. Hence a good time to change and make organic strawberries a success.
