Summary
Veel Nederlandse bodems zijn rijk aan fosfaat. Dit staat de ontwikkeling van interessante natuur in de weg. Omdat fosfaat niet uitspoelingsgevoelig is, zijn andere methoden nodig om de bodem fosfaat armer te krijgen. Dit kan door het maaien en afvoeren van gras-klaver. Deze teelt vraagt wel om kalibemesting. De combinatie van gras-klaverteelt met kalibemesting is een geschikte methode voor uitmijnen. Het Louis Bolk Instituut en DLV hebben deze methode samen met melkveehouders in Noord-Brabant getest. De positieve ervaringen en resultaten van de metingen zijn gebundeld in deze brochure.
Summary translation
Many Dutch soils are rich in phosphate. This obstructs the development of interesting nature. Because phosphate does not leach, other methods are needed to get lower phosphate levels in the soil. This can be done by mowing and removal of grass and clover. This cultivation does require potassium fertilizer. The combination of grass-clover cropping with potasssium application is suitable for phosphate extraction. The Louis Bolk Institute and DLV have tested this together with farmers in North Brabant. The positive experiences and results of the measurements are combined in this brochure
