Summary

Ammonia emissions in Finland have remained static in recent years and no big changes can be expected in the future as long as there are no drastic alterations in animal production.
Similar to ammonia, the emissisons of nitrous oxide depend on the extent of agricultural production. For nitrous oxide the use of mineral fertilizer nitrogen is crucial, because it is the main source of the emissions.
The ammonia emission factors obtained with the revised model are compared with emission factors from some other sources.
